Dr. Dominique Bulgin, PhD, RN is an Assistant Professor at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville College of Nursing. She is a nurse scientist with an interdisciplinary program of research that focuses on promoting health equity by improving health outcomes in Black individuals with chronic illnesses, primarily sickle cell disease, through disease self-management and reducing the influence of health-related stigma, discrimination, and racism.
