I am the founder of the first Non-governmental organization created in March 2005. My daughter is homozygote
SS. We support advocacy and activities for Sickle Cell Disease in Madagascar in collaboration with the Ministry of
Health and its partners. We are in the initiative of the establishment of the First National Policy for Sickle Cell
Disease in Madagascar and building the first program with the same name. The NGO advocates at the national
and international levels and conducts campaigns for information, awareness and behavior’s change campaigns.
LCDM also ensures the care of patients and the training of medical personnel.
