Sloan Crawford, MS, MA is a graduate student in the Health Psychology Doctoral Program at Virginia Commonwealth University. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Old Dominion University. She continued her education at Regent University where she earned a Master of Science in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Practical Theology. Sloan's overall research objective is to develop and implement interventions to improve pain outcomes and the overall quality of life for individuals living with sickle cell disease with an emphasis on nutrition.
